Making Sense No.0001 marks the beginning of a new body of work that transforms language into something physical, visual, and deeply human.
Built from a custom font I designed to mirror how I read with dyslexia, each letter in this piece is stretched, bent, and warped until poems become form. What begins as written language evolves into geometry, text that fills space, challenges perception, and rewards patience.
This first work in the series carries the weight of origin. It introduces a system where reading becomes effort and effort becomes meaning. The black and white palette simplifies the chaos of my mind, revealing structure in what once felt unstable.
At its core, Making Sense No.0001 is an invitation to slow down, to look closer, and to experience language as I do. It is not just a painting. It is the start of a language built on empathy, presence, and the beauty of persistence.
